Booking Events and Venues
The Events Committee will be sorting out which came first, the chicken or the egg. Once they have the date they can start event planning and venue scouting. Choosing a venue is the chicken. Or maybe its the egg. Because they will have to discern how many classmates will be attending an event and manage the costs. Wish them luck!
Locate Missing Classmates
Jim G. is heading this up initially but it's really on all of us. We would like to see everyone reaching out to classmates they are still in touch with or know where they are to let them know the 50th reunion is coming up next year, and to invite them to register on this website. We'd like them to register simply to know that we have some knowledge on their whereabouts regardless of whether or not they plan to attend the reunion. It would also give them an opportunity to stay in touch.
Finances
The Finance committee will be headed up by Lynne, she's kind of stuck with it anyway because of how it will be tying in with the web site. The events and whatever else will involve electronic online fund transfers.
So the groundwork is in motion! More to come later....
