THEY'RE HERE! 50th Reunion Highlights / Wrap Up

An amazing weekend with so much to share!

What a SPECTACULAR weekend reunion it was. And we're not just saying that because we think so, but because that's what the word on the street is.

Finally have the 50th Reunion Highlights page up and running here: 50th Reunion Highlights

However... if you're on Facebook, there are hundreds of pictures uploaded to the Class Facebook page by people who were there, but you have to be on FB and subscribed to the Class page to see them. Class of 73 Facebook Page

Meanwhle, HUGE thanks to...

Larry Heininger's family for providing the amazing lanyards and to his wonderful son and daughter for stepping in both Friday and Saturday to take unbiased pics for our website! And for being the point person at Deland House.

And thanks to Sue Plvan, Terri Thon and Catherine Kutsko for their work on the Log Cabin decorations!

And thanks to Catherine Kutsko, Tom Story, Patience Reagan and Mark Deyle for the intense sleuthing involved in building the memorial page and tribure board!

And thanks to Larry Heininger, Sue Plvan and Mark Deyle for the efforts in the design and promotion of the commemorative clothing!

And thanks to Leslie Apetz for organizing the Title IX commemorative honors at the PHS football game's halftime and for the trophy design!

And thanks to Catherine Murphy and Mark Deyle for being the point persons on the Penfield Library History Room and Historic Valentown Museum tours!

And last but not least, thanks to Jim Gubiotti, who somehow managed to to manage all of these teams, all of these team leaders, and all of these activities, organize committee meetings (talk about herding cats?), track finances, and be the point person for the highly successful Log Cabin cookout.

Me..? I worked mostly on the website with the technical assistance of Mark Deyle for updating the web pages and finances, the tribute video, and being the biggest nag, lol! Also set up the online payment processing areas for registrations, donations and merchandise sales.

Crap, I'm sure I'm missing someone, somewhere, some team... but this gives you an idea of how many people worked so hard and for so long to make this weekend the remarkable memory that it was.

BUT --- none of this would have meant anything if it wasn't for the awesome turnout of members of our class... so the BIGGEST thank you goes out to all of you who came to celebrate, to share your life stories, meet up with old friends, get to know people you didn't know back then, it was our class members who came to party from all over the freaking country that made this such an awesome weekend.

TOGETHER WE CAN. TOGETHER WE DID.

What a weekend it was....!
